Peace and acceptance

Adam and I have spent countless hours discussing and praying about our jouney to parenthood. We are fortunate enough to be in a place where we are at peace with our path. Yes, there are concerns, but what we mostly feel at this point is peace. We accept where our journey is leading us. We trust that God has his hand in it, and it will all work out. Having this peace and being in a place of acceptance is very freeing.
It is our prayer that all people involved on all sides of adoption are able to find peace with their journey. It's not an easy one. When we get matched with someone we want to know that she is making the best decision she can for herself. Even if that decision doesn't involve us becoming the child's parents. We are truly OK with that because we ultimately want what's best for everyone involved, especially the expectant mother. We pray that she is able to have peace with her decision, and know that she did what was right for her and her baby.
